Graduates earn 3,852 degrees from CUNY Borough of Manhattan Community College


About 34.2 percent of the 3,852 degrees and certificates handed out by the CUNY Borough of Manhattan Community College in 2016-17 were to students in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in York conferred 1316 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Data shows the school gave out 1316 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, followed by 525 associate's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General and 439 associate's degrees in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration.

The college enrolled 26,748 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
