Graduates earn 1,301 degrees, certificates from Molloy College


About 50.4 percent of the 1,301 degrees and certificates handed out by Molloy College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Centre conferred 452 bachelor's degrees and 156 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 382 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 51 master's degrees in family practice nurse/nursing and 47 master's degrees in education/teaching of individuals in elementary special education programs.

The college enrolled 4,980 students for 2017-18, including 3,534 in undergraduate programs and 1,446 in graduate programs.
