Graduates earn 846 degrees, certificates from SUNY College at Potsdam


About 26.5 percent of the 846 degrees and certificates handed out by SUNY College at Potsdam in 2017-18 were to students in education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Potsdam conferred 128 master's degrees and 95 bachelor's degrees in education programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 63 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 57 bachelor's degrees in general psychology and 51 master's degrees in elementary education and teaching.

The college enrolled 3,587 students for 2017-18, including 3,321 in undergraduate programs and 266 in graduate programs.
