About 37.8 percent of the 2,574 degrees and certificates handed out by Monroe College in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Bronx conferred 388 bachelor's degrees and 309 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 283 master's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 244 bachelor's degrees in criminal justice/law enforcement administration and 218 associate's degrees in criminal justice/police science.
The college enrolled 6,310 students for 2017-18, including 5,514 in undergraduate programs and 796 in graduate programs.
