Census Bureau: More women than men in Chatham in 2017


Of the 1,531 people living in Chatham in 2017, 50.9 percent (780) were women and 49.1 percent (751) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the New York Business Daily.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 517-to-496. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 171 females and 133 males.
