Flying Food Group has announced their annual donations to One Tree Planted will be directed specifically towards areas impacted by wildfires.

The organization started making annual donations to One Tree Planted in 2023, choosing Earth Day as their donation day each year. In 2023, Flying Food Group directed the donation to go specifically towards U.S. National Parks, one of the focus areas under One Tree Planted.

Their 2024 donation will be directed towards areas impacted by wildfires, which follows their donations earlier this year made on World Charity Day to the Salvation Army Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Division to help them provide food and first aid to victims affected by the Maui wildfires.

Flying Food Group is especially dedicated to this cause as they recently added a new location in Maui.

Founded in 1983 by Sue Ling Gin, Flying Food Group provides food catering services to major airlines, including Air France, Aer Lingus. Lufthansa, Japan Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Swiss Air and TAP Air Portugal. The company is headquartered in Chicago.

One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization focused on global deforestation. Their mission is to replant saplings wherever they are needed, with focus areas including watersheds, forest fire area, urban areas, biodiversity, mangroves, and national forests.
